Collection: Cultural Artifacts

Items that retain authentic ethnic and/or historical traits of a region, a people or a subculture are grouped into the category Cultural Artifacts. Regardless of their manufacturer, these items retain enough of the cultural and historical characteristics of a region, people, and or subculture that it acts as a carrier of meaning beyond its intended function. These characteristics exist independent of the intent of the manufacturer or the buyer.
